About Me
I'm a lifelong web geek with an extensive background in web development, having worked for a mixture of digital agencies and small businesses across both California and the North West of England. I'm confident with a variety of modern frontend and backend technologies, including Symfony, Laravel, and React. I combine deep engineering experience with AI-assisted development workflows to deliver high-quality features efficiently.
In my current role at Trilanco Ltd, I led the development of a bespoke Laravel + React e-commerce wholesaler website, along with continuing its ongoing evolution based on customer feedback. I was recognised as Employee of the Year in 2020, and won Employee of the Month multiple times.
I have a track record for delivering easily-maintainable code that's flexible enough to allow for future improvements. I also enjoy the people side of development - whether that's translating technical concepts into plain language for stakeholders, or working closely with designers and product teams to get the details right.
Outside of work, my hobbies include strength training, reading, and litter picking. I'm also a licensed radio amateur, and once taught my dog how to sort shapes - which got us featured in press and TV coverage.
